This is one of the best - and probably the most popular of all online reverse phone search site. They have an extensive database that's filled with millions of mobile and landline phone numbers so you have a better than even chance of getting what you want. The landing page couldn't be simpler either - it's has one field where you enter a phone number and then click on the "Search Now!" button. What will you get in return? One of two things... either a message that informs you that there is no information in the database or confirmation of the number, the search date, the location of the number (city and state only) and whether a full report is available, or not. If you choose to "learn more" you'll be asked to choose a membership plan or a one-time full report fee.
Databases, Tools, and Extras
- Owners’ Names and Addresses
- Other Household Members
- Phone Type (Landline or Cell)
- Location and Map
- People Search Results
- Privacy Option
Membership Options and Fees
- Premium Membership: Unlimited Reverse Phone Lookups for 1 Year: $39.95
- Full Phone Report for One Person: $14.95
Again, the premium membership is the way to go if you're going to use this service more than 2-3 times per year, but if you'd like to see the type of information you get back, you may want to consider trying out one search first.
1. Good value: Their prices are reasonable - but all the good sites have very affordable rates. Once again, in our opinion it's better to go with the one-year membership plan than the one-time full report option, if you can afford it.
2. Their user interface is good, and the site is clean and simple. It's hard to make a mistake here and you either get nothing (no results) or a good deal of information.
3. You can use their Advanced People Search feature and conduct background checks (e.g. babysitters, employees, neighbors, etc); and locate relatives, co-workers, classmates, etc.
4. They definitely have more of the hard-to-find cell phones numbers than any of the free sites (In the past we used and recommended the free website, anywho.com, for reverse searches, but we don't anymore. You'll be hard pressed to find the owners of cell phone numbers on that site, which makes it pretty useless in today's mobile phone environment (many of our friends, relatives and colleages don't even have landline phones anymore, and this trend is increasing).
5. You can also get full contact information for unlisted phone numbers, which we like a lot!
6. They also have a cool privacy option for members, that actually allows them to have their information hidden from others who search on the site (We imagine some people subscribe to this service for that reason alone... go figure).
Limitations
1. US based searches only - This site should not be used to replace a full-blown genealogy/ancestry search site.
2. Don't expect the breath of vital records data that the people-find sites have... remember, their forte is reverse number searches!
